It is hard to believe that we leave in 3 days. We have gotten a lot done but we also have a lot to do. Our families have helped us a lot through this journey and I have no doubt that they will continue helping us after we return home. We cannot thank them enough. We also have a wonderful church family. I know that they will continue to pray for us. I am not sure that we will ever be able to express how much that means to us. We are surrounded by such wonderful people. Our kids are going to be blessed to have our families in their lives also.
Our first stop in China will be Beijing. We will be there for 2 nights then off to Xining. Xining is passed the middle of China. We are going to be in the beautiful mountains. On Monday Jade will become part of our family. We will have some paperwork on Tuesday but then we wait until Friday. On Friday we get her passport and the next morning we leave for Nanning. Nanning will be a nice change, the weather will be warmer and we will be closer to sea level. On Monday Abram will become part of our family. Again we will have some paperwork on Tuesday. We will then wait for Friday to get his passport and leave that night for Guangzhou. Saturday and Monday we will have to take the kids to the doctor. On Tuesday the 14th we have our CA appoint to finalize their visas and citizenship paperwork. Wednesday we will get their passports back with their American visas. Then it is off to Hong Kong for a night before we fly home.
I think that we are just as excited to go as we are to get home. In our mind the trip is not done until we are in our house.
We know that God is going before us preparing the way. We are thankful for a living God who is in control of everything. Sometimes it is hard to remember that when things get stressful, He is our rock and we know that He will be with us on our journey. He has been in control of our journey from the beginning and his perfect plan is being done.
You're almost there! See you in Guangzhou...
